Responsibilities Performance Management • Co-oversees the development and implementation of the Group performance appraisal program and provides advice and recommendations to TRS management and staff. • Co-oversees the development and implementation of group core competencies, core values, and key performance measures into performance appraisal system. • Analyzes and reports on measurement results. • Develops and conducts presentations and training to organisation’s management and staff on the performance appraisal system. • Provides training to all levels of staff on performance management and systems. • May assist with developing and implementing Group performance improvement plans such as Coaching. Workforce Development and Succession Planning • Conducts assessments and gap analysis on employee skills and training. • Assesses various staffing needs to determine methods to address current and future conditions, including retention management, realignment, recruitment planning, and career development. • Assists with developing training plans, identifying educational opportunities for employee development. • May assist with change management initiatives by conducting readiness assessments, job-impact analysis, and skill and capability assessments. Knowledge Transfer • Facilitates group discussions to perform gap analysis and needs assessment(s). • Develops a strategy for knowledge transfer activities, to include planning, implementation, and training. • Develops knowledge sharing processes and programs that encourage learning and collaboration. • Prepares communications to share tools and information with various stakeholders. • Provides back-up support to department staff and quality service to department customers. • Performs related work as assigned. Learning & Development • Monitor the activities of Chicason Group entry level training school program • Create and maintain a training calendar for the new hire training school • Organize and facilitate New Hire Induction program/schedule to ensure training compliance for all new hires • Track the progress and effectiveness of the on-boarding and mentoring programs • Coordinate program execution and logistics with internal groups and external facilitators to ensure smooth running of training programs • Communicate with team members regarding the new hire training details, schedule and/or course changes, curriculum and assessments • Ensure that the designed curriculum for the new hire training is relevant and followed without compromise • Manage reporting and necessary data for the interactive session and surveys for new hires • Ensure training cost is in line with the approved budget • Provide performance feedback. • Communicate with internal and external facilitators in such a way as to ensure efficient support and positive relations. • Evaluate the effectiveness of the new hire training program to reflect best practices. • Resolve the queries or difficulties raised by the trainees, such that the training sessions meet their purpose • Redesign and update the training calendar and courses for the new hire training school in line with changes in the industry and organizational policies • Coordination of other training activities as assigned
